Lightroom 2 Beta offers new featuers like Localized corrections, Improved organizational tools, Multiple monitor support, Flexible print package functions and 64-bit support. A great new addition to any photographers tool box.

When running a site or blog an important thing to remember is Browser Compatibility. This is important to remember that your readers are using different operating systems and different browsers and each of these may present a different view of your blog and present different issues. What looks okay to you may not always appear the same to your readers and checking your browser compatibility should be something that all bloggers practice sense you should not single out only the browser you use.

I have been busy the past week working on a new little project. It took a while to get the design the way I wanted it and some other functions but I finally have the directory live and you can take hope over and check it out at theseotree.com. The software used was PHPLD and I decided to buy the updated version for a few extra features that were not available in the free version, and there seemed to be a better selection of themes that I wanted to modify and I found one that was what I was looking for and after a few graphic changes, a logo and some mods I had what I wanted.

Sorry for any problems with accessing this site in the past few days. I was in the process of switching hosting providers. Now with hostgator and things seem to be good. Hostgators transfer servcie did a great job of moving everything over.

Ive added a few new things here an there with in the past week or so.

*Thumbnails on the tutorials page . So i hope this makes it a little easier to navigate and get a preview before you click.

*I’m trying out widgetbucks to see how good of a program it really is. Will let you know some
stats on that in the upcoming months. At the moment I’m kinda debating if I really like them
or not. If you have any good or bad experience with them I would love to hear.

*A new tutorial category featuring a few wordpress tutorials/how-tos.
So far I’ve added a spell check fix. This was really bugging me that spellcheck was never working
so I set out to find a fix. And I hope it works for you. All you have to do is download and upload
the file I have prepared.
Also a quick experiment on Alexa Ranking. Some insight on what I’m trying out and things you
can try also. There are alot of other ideas out there but I find these to work.

*Added a new artpeice which has been the header for the site called ”somewhere in a dream”

Portfolio Stuff.

**I have redone my Field Herpetology site also. This is a personal hobby of mine that I enjoy and help conservation and studies of reptiles and amphibians. It’s mainly photos and some stories and reports. The data is stored with colleges and Herpetology databases to aid in research.

I have been out of the Digital Art world for a while. But hope to slowly come back in.

Been alot going on. Spending time with my daughter, working lots, starting a business, out hiking, and doing some photography.
