It took a while to get the design the way I wanted it and some other functions but I finally have the directory live and you can take hope over and check it out at theseotree.com. The software used was PHPLD and I decided to buy the updated version for a few extra features that were not available in the free version, and there seemed to be a better selection of themes that I wanted to modify and I found one that was what I was looking for and after a few graphic changes, a logo and some mods I had what I wanted.

For listing your site at The SEOtree your site will have a auto-generated screenshot, your pagerank, Alexa chart and ranks, and the number of indexed and backlinks from Google, Yahoo, and MSN along with showing if your site is listed in DMOZ and Yahoo Directories. Along with your description, SEO Friendly Links, The ability to add your own meta keywords and descriptions, and a bundle of categories and subcategories to add your site to. Example of a Details Page.

The price for a Regular link is starting out at $5 and a Featured link at $10 this is for an unlimited place on the site. The prices may go up in the future. I did some checking around at other places and seems like they charge two to three times that amount for being listed in their directory. I though I would try to keep things at a low level, and even if I decide to up the prices it will not be by much. I’m also offering reciprocal links if anyone is interested in a free listing. The reciprocal links are nofollow.

I will approve most blogs or sites as long as they are not obscene or adult.

Entrecard is a bloggers advertising network. It’s really a good way to network with bloggers, get your ad on others site and make a few new friends, and generate some good quick traffic to your site.

You can see I have the Entrecard widget in my sidebar on this site. I will probably sign-up for it on my other blogs also. This has to be one of the best sites I have found so far.

The basic idea is to create an account, start dropping your card on other members site and vise-versa so you generate credits to buy advertising space on sites and other members buy space on your site. So you get two things in one you promote yourself and promote others without having to pay a ton of money.

*Thumbnails on the tutorials page . So i hope this makes it a little easier to navigate and get a preview before you click.

*I’m trying out widgetbucks to see how good of a program it really is. Will let you know some
stats on that in the upcoming months. At the moment I’m kinda debating if I really like them
or not. If you have any good or bad experience with them I would love to hear.

*A new tutorial category featuring a few wordpress tutorials/how-tos.
So far I’ve added a spell check fix. This was really bugging me that spellcheck was never working
so I set out to find a fix. And I hope it works for you. All you have to do is download and upload
the file I have prepared.
Also a quick experiment on Alexa Ranking. Some insight on what I’m trying out and things you
can try also. There are alot of other ideas out there but I find these to work.

*Added a new artpeice which has been the header for the site called ”somewhere in a dream”

** I have redone my other site Spllogics Designs. With some of my Web and Design
Portfolio Stuff.

**I have redone my Field Herpetology site also. This is a personal hobby of mine that I enjoy and help conservation and studies of reptiles and amphibians. It’s mainly photos and some stories and reports. The data is stored with colleges and Herpetology databases to aid in research.
